Hugo à rejoint Translink CF en tant qu’analyste en 2024. Diplômé du Programme Grande Ecole d’Audencia Business School, il a précédemment réalisé plusieurs stages en banque d’investissement où il a travaillé sur diverses opérations de financement en tant qu’analyste crédit.Par la suite, il a débuté son parcours en M&A lors d’un stage au sein de Translink CF France où il a eu l’opportunité de travailler sur une diversité de secteurs et d’opérations.

Passionné par les voitures anciennes, Hugo est également un fin connaisseur des ligues universitaires et professionnelles de football américain.

Joël est aujourd’hui Senior Advisor TMT/Software chez Translink CF France​. Après 20 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie du logiciel d’entreprise en France et au UK, Joël a co-fondé la société Talentsoft en 2007 et en devient le Chief Technology Officer. Talentsoft s’imposera progressivement, et à la suite de levées de fonds d’envergure, comme le leader européen des logiciels de Talent Management dans le cloud.

En 2021, alors que l’entreprise atteint les 100 millions d’euros de chiffre d’affaires et emploie plus de 600 personnes, Talentsoft est acquise par le groupe CEGID. Joël est également administrateur, investisseur et conseil de fonds d’investissement. Joël est diplômé de l’école des Mines de Paris en France et a travaillé dans le centre de recherche en Intelligence Artificielle de Carnegie Mellon University aux USA.

Matt possède plus de 15 ans d’expérience en finance d’entreprise sur le marché intermédiaire, dans de nombreux secteurs tels que les technologies, la logistique, la fabrication et les services aux entreprises.

Il conseille des propriétaires-gérants, des entreprises et des clients de capital-investissement, en mettant particulièrement l’accent sur la stratégie et l’exécution des fusions et acquisitions.

Matt a été décrit comme étant un pilier dans la réussite de la transaction, toujours au fait des faits et totalement à la hauteur dans des situations en constante évolution.

Il est membre de l’ICAEW et détient une maîtrise en finance.

Will a rejoint Translink Corporate Finance en 2019 après avoir obtenu son diplôme de première classe en économie à l’Université de Leeds. Son parcours académique comprenait une année à l’étranger, étudiant à l’Université de Western Australia.

Avec plus de 4 ans d’expérience dans des transactions de milieu de marché, notamment des fusions et acquisitions d’entreprises, des rachats par la direction, des conseils stratégiques et corporatifs, la levée de capitaux de développement et des cessions d’entreprises, Will est passionné par le soutien à une large gamme de PME passionnantes. Will a également obtenu la qualification de comptable agréé en 2022.

Will adore tout ce qui concerne le sport, en particulier le cricket et le golf. Il aime combiner cela avec sa passion pour les voyages, suivant régulièrement l’équipe de cricket d’Angleterre. Will détient également un abonnement de saison à Huddersfield Town depuis l’âge de quatre ans.

Tim est un négociateur chevronné, ayant apprécié travailler avec des entreprises à capital privé pendant plus de 15 ans.

Son expérience couvre un large éventail de secteurs industriels, conseillant les clients sur les cessions à des acquéreurs stratégiques et des investisseurs financiers, fournissant des conseils pour lever des fonds en vue de la croissance ou des acquisitions, et conseillant les équipes de direction lors de rachats soutenus par des fonds de capital-investissement.

Tim profite d’une vie sociale active, entretenant sa passion pour le golf et jouant avec un handicap de +1, participant régulièrement aux équipes de Sheffield et du Yorkshire, ainsi qu’à quelques événements nationaux lorsque le temps le permet !

Mathéo a rejoint Translink CF France début 2023 après plusieurs expériences en M&A, notamment au sein des équipes Large Cap de BNP Paribas où il a pu travailler sur des opérations cross-border sur les secteurs de l’agroalimentaire, du retail et de la santé. Il retrouve les équipes de Translink CF France pour lesquelles il avait déjà travaillé en tant que stagiaire, preuve de son attachement à nos valeurs et à notre projet.

Il est également titulaire d’un Master Grande Ecole d’Audencia Business School et d’un double diplôme délivré par l’Ecole Centrale de Lyon.

Sur son temps libre, Mathéo aime passer du bon temps avec ses amis et sa famille, devant un match de rugby ou un Grand Prix de Formule 1. Pratiquant de longue date de nombreux sports de combat, il aime canaliser son énergie à l’aide d’un bon combat de boxe !

Après des études de gestion à la Sorbonne, Caroline a repris une société familiale spécialisée dans le commerce de gros de produits hydrauliques au milieu des années 90, avant de cesser son activité début 2023. Aujourd’hui elle apporte toute son énergie à poursuivre la structuration de Translink CF France autour des sujets liés à la gouvernance, aux RH et au marketing avec l’ambition d’apporter toute son expérience. Joueuse redoutable de scrabble, férue de ski et de natation, et grande voyageuse, Caroline parle couramment l’anglais.

Après des expériences en M&A en banques d’affaires chez Capitalmind Investec et Raphaël Financial Advisory, Boris a rejoint Translink CF en janvier 2021 comme analyste. Il a été depuis promu chargé d’affaires en janvier 2023 et a pu faire valoir son expertise sur une large variété d’opérations (LBO, cession industrielle et levée de fonds) et de secteurs. Il est diplômé du programme Grande Ecole d’Audencia Business School.

Aficionado de tout type de sport et curieux par nature, Boris aime découvrir sans cesse de nouvelles choses. Grâce à une maîtrise du verbe acérée, il est dans la quête perpétuelle du bon mot à la machine à café ou sur Teams.

Diplômé d’un master en finance de l’EM Lyon Business School, Jules a commencé sa carrière professionnelle en tant qu’Analyste M&A chez SANTANDER CIB puis en tant qu’Associate chez ATOUT CAPITAL et SEVENSTONES en charge de transactions M&A dédiées aux entrepreneurs et groupes familiaux. Son attrait pour les opérations de transmissions et de LBO l’ont naturellement conduit à rejoindre Translink CF en 2022 en tant que Senior Associate. Jules apporte sa bonne humeur et sa joie de vivre afin de conduire au mieux les opérations complexes de nos clients.

Passionné entre autres de vin, de montagnes et de course automobile, Jules est toujours en quête de nouvelles bouteilles à déguster ou d’occasion pour chausser ses skis.

David est membre du conseil d’administration et investisseur chez Medelse. Il est également membre du conseil d’administration d’INVIVOX. En tant que fondateur et PDG lui-même,

Will has over 10 years’ experience in M&A, having advised on a broad range of transactions including owner-managed businesses, large corporates and private equity.

He has extensive experience in providing shareholders and management teams with strategic advice on corporate mergers & acquisitions, business disposals, exit strategies, management buy-outs/buy-ins and raising debt or equity capital.

Will’s sector experience spans a wide range of markets, and he is a member of our Energy & Environment specialist sector group.

Will enjoys spending his free time with his young family around the Yorkshire countryside and has a passion for a range of sporting hobbies including golf, skiing and general fitness.

John has worked in the corporate finance industry for over 20 years including in M&A at a top six firm, as an investment professional at a private equity house and now at Translink Corporate Finance.

He enjoys advising a wide variety of business owners, management teams and financial institutions on a range of corporate transactions and strategies. Since joining Translink Corporate Finance John has been responsible for the successful delivery of several domestic and cross-border disposals and fund raisings including for a building products business which enabled transformational growth.

John spends his downtime either walking his dog Doris with his family, or road cycling in the peak district.

Declan has over eight years’ experience of providing corporate finance advice to owner managers and ambitious management teams. In recent years he has advised on a number of company sales, corporate acquisitions and MBOs for clients across a range of sectors including automotive, TMT, industrial and healthcare.

In 2019 he was named Emerging Dealmaker of the Year at the Insider Sheffield City Region Dealmakers Awards.

Jamie is a partner at Provantage CF and has over 25 years of experience in the corporate finance world, gained at some of the most successful global corporate finance practices including Catalyst Corporate Finance/Alantra and GCA Altium/Houlihan Lokey.

He has worked with a wide range of business types – from owner managers to private equity backed businesses through to large corporates – always focused on delivering an outstanding outcome for the client. He is part of the TMT team with a particular focus on software, IT Services and tech-enabled services – completing multiple transactions in this space over the last 10 years.

Au cours des cinq dernières années, Marc a réalisé plus d’une vingtaine d’opérations de haut de bilan pour le compte d’industriels et de fonds d’investissement dans le secteur des TMT et des services.

Il est responsable de l’expertise ICT de Translink CF au niveau mondial.

Avant ses 30 ans, Marc crée, avec Jacques-Henri Rième et Mathieu Lemesle, Financière Monceau CF, devenue par la suite Translink CF France.

Mal is an experienced CEO having led businesses such as Maytag, Strongform and Camfil. Previously Mal held senior roles with 3M, Southcorp Appliances and Southcorp Wines.
Mal’s business experience includes both corporate and private equity spanning a broad range of industries including industrial products, consumer appliances, wine, retail and import distribution.
Mal was the founding CEO of Strongform and partnered with ANZ Private Equity to complete several acquisitions.
Mal has a strong track record of growing businesses organically and through acquisition having completed numerous acquisitions throughout his career. Mal has a Dip. Accounting, a Dip. Marketing and an MBA.

David began his storied career in 1982 with KPMG in Frankfurt before joining Price Waterhouse as a Manager in their Milan and New York offices. Following Price Waterhouse, he joined AWT, Inc. (Veolia Environnement) as Group Controller. Before founding Strempel & Partners, the predecessor firm to Translink Strempel & Company, he was Co-owner and Managing Director of Informed Sources Ltd. He also held senior roles at America Online (AOL), Bertelsmann, and BMG International. He is a qualified accountant (CPA) who speaks English, Italian, and German. He is a member of our M&A IT group, having closed several transactions in this sector.

Matteo Paggi is a finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, transaction services and auditing. Matteo began his career in the Milan Office of KPMG where he progressed with increasing levels of responsibility performing audit activities in the Financial Services sector. Subsequently, within KPMG’s Transaction Services division, he carried out transaction and due diligence activities. From 2007 to 2010, he worked for MIT.FIN (a Milan-based investment banking boutique), where he became Head of the Execution Team and followed several M&A transactions in domestic and foreign markets. From 2010 to 2011 he was Head of Execution in Fante (a Milan-based investment banking company). In 2013 he became CEO/CFO of an Italian company providing printing services. In 2016, Matteo once again joined Translink Strempel as Partner. Matteo graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and he can conduct business in his native Italian as well as English and French. He is a member of our automotive and industrials groups, having closed several transactions in these sectors.

Gianni Laudato is a senior executive with a history of high profile positions as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director in multinational industrial groups; examples of his executive positions include: International Finance Manager at GTE Telecommunications SpA, operating in the telecom sector in Italy and abroad, with 6.500 employees; Chief Financial Officer at Ercole Marelli SpA, a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, operating in the electro-mechanical and energy sectors; Chief Financial Officer of the Group and Managing Director of the Italian operating companies at Schiapparelli SpA, a holding company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and operating in the pharmaceutics, cosmetics, diagnostics, biotech and food & beverage industries. At Schiapparelli, Gianni spent 25 years, managing important acquisitions, joint-ventures, divestitures in Italy and abroad, equity and debt operations on listed companies, financial and industrial restructurings. In recent years Gianni founded S.I.L.V.A. SpA (Managing Director, owning 33% of the shares), a company operating in the high end Beverage/Spirits industry; acted as a Strategic consultant in the Beverage industry; joined MIT.FIN SpA (M&A and Corporate Finance advisory house) in late 2007 as Senior Executive Advisor. Since March 2010, Gianni is Senior Partner at Strempel & Company. Gianni can conduct his work in Italian, English and French. Mauro Bussotti has developed his career within the Investment Banking sector, particularly focused on Structured Finance, Equity and Debt Capital Markets and on M&A advisory. He worked as a Senior Executive in several Italian and international banking groups to finally concentrate on advisory activity. Mauro was the Credit Officer for Banca di Roma’s London branch and Deputy Representative for their New York office; Credit Manager and Investment Banking Officer for Italian Financial Institutions in Citibank; Head of Investment Banking and Corporate Communication in Caboto, Intesa Group; Head of Investment Banking (Securitization, Structured Finance, M&A, Capital Market Origination) and Corporate Communications in Abaxbank, Credito Emiliano Group; CEO of Comoi Corporate Finance , the advisory arm of Comoi, a Suisse group engaged in Asset Management, Risk Management and Corporate Finance; Partner in Santalessandro, a Corporate Finance Advisor specialized in Real Estate, Tourism & Hospitality; Head of Finance and Strategic Advisory in Warrant Group, an advisory company specialized in Corporate Finance, Soft Financing, Offshoring and Internationalization, and Technology Transfer. Mauro is fluent in English, his native language is Italian. He is a member of our food and industrials groups, having closed several transactions in these sectors.

Livio has a background as both an entrepreneur and seasoned corporate finance professional. He started his professional career within his family’s business in the dairy sector and subsequently founded and developed a number of different industrial enterprises in Italy and abroad. In 2009, he became a partner within a UK financial institution – Intrust Corporate Finance plc, regulated by FCA – with responsibility over the South European markets in the food, fashion and energy sectors. During his career, he has carried out numerous M&A transactions, debt restructurings and has been an advisor in bankruptcy procedures for publicly owned companies. He is a member of the young entrepreneurs group of Assolombarda and has been a member of its finance and innovation commissions. Before joining Translink he carried out corporate finance activities as Chairman of BCR Consulenti Associati, a corporate finance boutique he helped to found in 2012. He is a member of our food group, having closed several transactions in this sector.

Alberto has extensive experience in the field of corporate finance with years of experience in both equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. He began his career as an equity analyst and proceeded to work for Milla & Co (predecessor of Banca Leonardo), Caboto and for Pasfin Securities, then sold to BNP Paribas. At BNPP he was a member of the equity research team for the automotive, telecom and media sectors, reaching the rank as best Italian telecom analyst in 2000 (Extel). The same year BNPP appointed him head of Italian TMT Corporate Finance. In 2003 he joined Abaxbank (owned by Credito Emiliano) where he led the first round of restructuring. In 2005 he was appointed head of M&A of FMM (which then became Fante Group). In 2009 he participated in the startup of Hammer Partners, an independent research company catering to European hedge funds. Before joining Translink he carried out corporate finance activity as CEO of BCR Consulenti Associati, a corporate finance boutique he helped to found in 2012.

Sabina Grisorio gained extensive international Finance experience across Europe, the Middle-East, Africa and South East Asia in different industries: consumer goods, ICT and chemical. She started her career in 3M and subsequently moved to Digital Equipment Corporation and Kraft Foods. In these companies she covered roles with increasing responsibilities in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Corporate Governance, both in Italy and abroad. In Digital Equipment Corporation and Kraft Foods, Sabina participated in M&A and divestments activities, restructuring, information systems and organizational changes. From 2002 to 2009, based in Vienna, Sabina held the positions of Director of Internal Controls and subsequently Director of Corporate Governance for Kraft Foods, with a responsibility for Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. Sabina holds a Bachelor Degree, with Distinction, in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan-Italy) and she is able to conduct business in her native Italian as well as in English. She is a member of our food and logistics industry groups, having closed several transactions in this sector.

Gerardo, who is based in our Venice-Mestre office, began his professional career at Banco San Marco (now BPM) within its corporate credit office and has successively worked as CFO in other commercial and industrial companies operating in the agro-industrial sector. He has been active for over 20 years in advising on M&A transactions and internationalization processes, having assisted important Italian industrial groups in their M&A activities and in the search for strategic partners both nationally and internationally, with a particular focus on emerging markets. He is a speaker at conferences and seminars on issues of corporate finance at universities and business schools. Gerardo holds a degree in Economics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He is a member of our food industry group, having closed several transactions in this sector.

Jeh Patel is an Analyst at Translink Strempel & Company. He is a graduate in International Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in economics. He is able to conduct business in his native English, Italian and Hindi. Jeh is a member of our automotive industry group.

PierCarla Delpiano has a degree in Economics from the University of Genoa. She has more than twenty years of experience in leading positions both in public administrations and private companies. In 1998 she was the first woman in Italy to become City Manager. In the private sector, she has been Director of Communication and External Relations at Fiera Milano spa, a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (2008-2018). She has also collaborated with important Universities (Bocconi and Iulm in Milan) and consulting companies (School of Public Administration of Lucca, Consiel). She took part and taught in specialization courses and masters (High School of Economics and Finance, Uncem, SDA Bocconi), and she was a speaker at national and international conferences. She is currently adjunct professor for the Master in Corporate Communications at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. President of the Board of Directors at Fondazione Stelline, Milan, since 2013.

Luigi has been involved for almost 20 years within listed and OTC international financial markets, working mainly with MPS Asset Management, Prima sgr and Anima sgr. He worked as fund manager and buy side analyst, both on equity and corporate debt markets (investment grade and high yield). He also worked within the macroeconomic department research of MPS Asset Management Sgr and as analyst and manager of credit derivatives products (CDOs and CSOs). From 2013 to mid-2016 we worked as sell-side equity analyst (Hammer Partners) on listed Italian companies. Later he gained experience in M&A as sell-side advisor from the origination to the successful sale of a food processing SME to a PE. Before joining Translink he worked within the Treasury Department of Piaggio Aerospace. Luigi holds a degree in Economics from University of Pisa and a Master in Finance (CUOA-Altavilla Vicentina).

Fabrizio Malavolti has a degree in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan. He has extensive experience in corporate finance and equity markets. He worked as portfolio manager for SanPaolo Imi Asset Management and Monte Paschi Asset Management on Asian equity markets and sales covering Japanese equity markets for Merrill Lynch and then for Mizuho International in London. From 2009 to 2012 he collaborated with a UK regulated company on renewable energy investments; in 2013 he set up a company in involved in energy savings works, of which he was managing director. He worked on M&A operations in collaboration with Labs Investments and BCR Consulting. In 2004 he successfully completed the CFA. He also carried out several volunteer activities for the CFA Society Italy: designing and organizing the conference at Borsa Italiana « From Italy with value » in 2013 and 2014 and acting as Mentor for the CFA Research Challenge from 2012 to 2014..

Giampaolo Cogliati has developed his career within the Investment Banking sector. He has particularly focused on Structured Finance, Equity and Debt Capital Markets and on M&A advisory. He has been a Senior Executive in several Italian and international banking groups to finally concentrate on advisory activity. Giampaolo has been Credit Analyst in Banque Indosuez; member of Structured Finance team in Crédit Lyonnais becoming Head of Acquisition Finance; Head of Structured Finance in Abaxbank, Investment Bank of Credito Emiliano Group; Relationship Manager and Head of Credit Analysis & Structuring in Natixis;. Giampaolo is fluent in French, his native language is Italian.

Michael Anderson CA (SA) has 20 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer, a Director of Companies and as a consultant. Michael has a strong understanding of business strategy and corporate finance together with an ability to grasp the fundamentals of any business or sector. He has served in several executive positions, among others at the European office of Ogilvy & Mather (WPP Group plc) and Old Mutual Plc. Michael has executed transactions in the financial services, banking, media, agricultural, mining and property sectors. He is a member of our industrials and healthcare industry groups, having closed several transactions in these sectors.
